Exercise balls can be a great way to exercise your core as well as add more difficulty to your home workout routines. But the big question many people have it what size ball is the right size for them to buy?
Exercise balls are available in a wide range of sizes, suitable for individuals under 4 feet, 6 inches to individuals who are more than 6 feet, 2 inches tall. Balls are sized in centimeters, and most companies color code the balls to match the size. Here is a basic guideline to go by in determining what size exercise ball you should purchase for your height:

Keep in mind that if you are just starting out exercising and you are overweight, older or out of shape, the American Council on Exercise recommends to start out on a larger, slightly less-inflated ball. A fully inflated fitness ball should be quite firm and require you to fully engage your muscles to stay upright.
