Do you love Stromboli as much as I do? I just knew I had to figure out a way to make some a Stromboli that would fit my low-carb lifestyle and this recipe did not disappoint!  It replaces my Stromboli cravings and also replaced my son's love of Hot Pockets (which are full of not so good ingredients).

The best part of this recipe - you can change up the ingredients to make all sorts of variations like steak and cheese or barbecue chicken. You can really let your imagination in the kitchen take control and stuff this full of your favorite low carb ingredients!  You can even stuff it full of breakfast items like sausage, eggs and cheese.  The possibilities are endless.

This Keto Ham & Cheese Stromboli is full of taste - but has none of the guilt so you can enjoy!

Ingredients:

 1 ¼ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
 4 tbsp almond flour
 3 tbsp coconut flour
 1 large egg
 1 tsp Italian seasoning
 Salt and pepper, to taste
 4 oz ham
 3.50 oz cheddar cheese

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F

Combine almond flour, coconut flour, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.

In microwave, melt mozzarella cheese, about 1 minute in the microwave, and 10 second intervals afterward, stirring occasionally. When melted, place into your flour mixture and begin working it in.

Add in your egg and combine everything together.

When everything is combined and you’ve got a moist dough, transfer it to a flat surface with some parchment paper.

Lay a second sheet of parchment paper over the dough ball and use a rolling pin to flatten it out.

Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut diagonal lines beginning from the edges of the dough to the center, leave a row of dough untouched about 4 inches wide.

Alternate laying ham and cheddar on that uncut stretch of dough. Then lift one section of dough at a time and lay it over the top, covering your filling.

Bake it for about 15-20 minutes until you see it has turned a golden brown color.
