This is one of the best ways I have found to get in my healthy fats while getting to use my grill. And just when you think avocados cannot get any better when you put them on the grill you take this amazing green fruit to a whole new level!

Grilling avocados takes this healthy green fruit to a whole new level!

Grilled Avocado Recipe

Yields4 Servings
Prep Time5 minsCook Time3 minsTotal Time8 mins

Ingredients:

 2 ripe avocados
 2 tbsp lemon juice
 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
 sea salt & ground black pepper, to taste
 Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
 sugar free salsa for serving (optional)

Directions:

Preheat your grill to high heat.

Cut avocados in half and remove pits.

Drizzle each half with lemon juice, brush with oil and season with salt and pepper.

Place avocados cut-side down on the grill and grill for 3 minutes.

Garnish with cilantro and service with salsa.
