Burgers are always a great addition to a keto or low-carb meal plan.  They are quick, easy and delicious. These butter burgers are no exception to that rule and we add those to the meal rotation in our house pretty regularly.

We are a hunting family so wild game is always in our freezer and this recipe can be used with a variety of proteins. You can change it up by using ground venison, ground elk or even ground turkey!

These Bunless Butter Burgers are the perfect for the keto or low-carb lifestyle (and boy oh boy are they tasty!)

Ingredients:

 4 oz ground beef
 fine sea salt & ground black pepper, to taste
 paprika, to taste
 1 tbsp butter
 1 slice of American cheese
 1 tbsp olive oil
 1 large lettuce leaf
 1 tsp avocado oil mayonnaise

Directions:

Season your ground beef with sea salt, ground black pepper and paprika and mix very well with your hands.

Make 2 flat patties and place your butter in the center of one of the patties. Place the second patty on top of the buttered patty and press and seal the sides until the two patties merge.

Cook the patty on an oiled pan on high heat for 4 minutes on each side.

Once it’s done, place the patty on a lettuce leaf and add a slice of cheese.

Spread with some mayo, fold and enjoy!
